Following their album A Bigger Bang in 2005, the Stones return to the studio for the first time in ten years with their blues album Blue&Lonesome. The gap wouldn’t be much a concern for a band who exist since the early 1960’s. However much as changed in the last 10 years in sociological, financial, cultural ways.

The album is recorded in three days and reflects their earliest blues influences. Thus, the album serves as a retrospective and tribute to the blues music and blues musicians.

Blue and Lonesome, includes 12-classic blues songs, including “Commit a Crime”, “I Gotta Go”, “Little Rain” and it also features Eric Clapton as a guest musician on Rolling Stones’ covers of “Everybody Knows About My Good Thing” and “I Can’t Quit You Baby”. The album will be released on December 2, 2016.
